Ain't much to this one, folks! Just run a fused circuit with some 14 gauge wire from your Auxiliary Fuse Box (Ya got one, right???) back to the cargo area and in less than an hour you've got a place to plug in that 12 volt adult toy you've been dying to annoy your girlfriend with.

Hold the plastic panel out of the way with a bungee cord.

First I ran a 14 gauge hot lead from my auxiliary fuse box.
(What?! You don't have an Auxiliary Fuse Box? Fix that here!)
I fed the wiring under the plastic panels beneath the door sills & up over the hump to the cargo area. You do not need to run a ground wire back since you'll just run a short ground wire to a nearby chassis ground point in the back.

You can find these power taps at most any auto parts store. Mine had a template to drill the hole with and a Harbour Freight hole saw set made quick work of the hole drilling.
BE SURE TO PUT THE RETAINING RING ON BEFORE YOU SOLDER THE WIRES OR ATTACH THE GROUND!

Install a fuse and test it out before you button everything down.

If you have pics of your own repairs or can suggest other methods - please contribute your ideas (and pictures) to this article!
