Hold the plastic panel out of the way with a bungee cord. ![]() First I ran a 14 gauge hot lead from my auxiliary fuse box. (What?! You don't have an Auxiliary Fuse Box? Fix that here!) I fed the wiring under the plastic panels beneath the door sills & up over the hump to the cargo area. You do not need to run a ground wire back since you'll just run a short ground wire to a nearby chassis ground point in the back. |
![]() You can find these power taps at most any auto parts store. Mine had a template to drill the hole with and a Harbour Freight hole saw set made quick work of the hole drilling. BE SURE TO PUT THE RETAINING RING ON BEFORE YOU SOLDER THE WIRES OR ATTACH THE GROUND! |
![]() Install a fuse and test it out before you button everything down. |
