This is a 'ball park' chart for dialing in your control arms lengths after lifting your XJ. Use these numbers only AS A STARTING POINT and expect to adjust from these numbers some in order to meet your rig's needs.

NOTE! Measurements are NOT correct for use with Rubicon Express L.C.A. drop brackets!

If you are using Rubicon Express Lower Control Arm Drop Brackets then you should subtract -approximately- 4" from the LIFT HEIGHT in the chart below to determine your LOWER control arm length!

In other words, if you have an 9" lift WITH R.E. drop brackets, use the l.c.a. measurement listed for a 5" lift.
Upper measurements should remain the same.

This chart was derived from a couple of sources but should be primarily credited to a post on J.U.'s Cherokee Forum by 'GottaBeJeep' in September 2002. 'GottaBeJeep' informed me that there is yet another source for the chart info and if anyone can send me that info I'll be sure to add proper credit!

If you have pics of your own repairs or can suggest other methods - please contribute your ideas (and pictures) to this article!
